This is it. I lived in China for a decade and only started seeing the WeChat menus for everything only in the last couple of years I was there. It was SO convenient and easy to use. Much nicer than trying to flip through a physical menu, flag down a waiter, have them write down my order, etc. But I imagine it would suck if I had to open a different UI every single time. The UI I used was tried and true, efficient, and user-friendly, could depend on it working well no matter where I went.
