Relating to criticisms of the Boring Company and his theories around transportation, Musk is on the record himself of asserting that Induced Demand doesn't exist which is a pretty remarkable statement considering that it's effectively an uncontroversial proven fact in transportation planning circles. So at the very least, in asserting that the entire profession is dumb and wrong he is suffering from delusions of grandeur that he is smarter than he actually is.
