It seems to me that some engineers are being evaluated for their suitability to being in those positions.
Maybe it's an engineer review, not a code review.
Reminiscent of the Elon message to the former CEO: "What have you got done this week?"
- scaramanga 4y agoTo which the reply would be "cut the bullshit, we both know you don't give a shit about code, so just show me which demeaning hoop you need me to jump through and what I'm going to get for doing it." And then just hope it isn't quid pro quo sexual harassment.
