- ozzythecat 4y agoMaybe. But I’ve been quietly saving for retirement. I haven’t been bidding $50k over asking price on houses or giving business to $30 post gentrification burger joints. I live in the same house I bought in 1997. My vehicle is over a decade old. I save, sometimes invest. Im definitely not someone driving over bidding $100k-$500k on houses and paying in cash. That being said, I am certainly not proud of where I used to work.
