Better Genderless Pronouns in English – Richard Stallman (2018)
- socialismisok 4y agoAs someone who uses they/them pronouns I always find this article to be a bit misguided, I'm not going to get angry about it, or lose any sleep, I just think RMS has a naive understanding in this domain and is overly confident in his conclusions.
- qualudeheart 4y agoSome people use it/its pronouns. Has Stallman commented on that?
- snvzz 4y agoThese one is interesting. They're used for things, and animals. People are just animals, after all. These pronouns recognize that fact.
- socialismisok 4y agoSome people do choose to apply it/its to themselves.
- poulpy123 4y agoA pronoun that is widely used for centuries and would be perfect for the he task ? Better invent some instead
