I can't help but think this model will lead to over-representation of fanatical or fringe viewpoints.
- polski-g 4y agoGay marriage is a fringe view point. Interracial marriage is a fringe viewpoint. Women voting is a fringe viewpoint. Abolishing slavery is a fringe viewpoint. Every social progress that has ever occurred started out as a fringe viewpoint.
- beezlewax 4y agoWe had a referendum in Ireland on gay marriage. Over 62% of voters voted in favour of a constitutional change to allow it with a turnout of 61%. Hardly fringe to us. You're correct though it did start out that way.
