- ChrisMarshallNY 4y agoLooks like a code quality consultancy. The vague terms are fairly par for the course, with business consultants. Probably coaching, analysis, and advice. Maybe coding, as well.
- mdaniel 4y agoNo, they have executable docker containers, too: https://hub.docker.com/r/empear/codescene https://hub.docker.com/r/empear/codescene; as best I can tell, it's a Sonarqube replacement
- deathemperor 4y agoI’ve just tested it out with our code base and it’s pretty impressive providing very useful intelligence of my team. Codescene provides metrics like he wrote in the post and many more.
- AlchemistCamp 4y agoHe also wrote Your Code as a Crime Scene and authored the open source tool, Code Maat. I've found both extremely useful in my current job where I took over a code base with immense technical debt. AFIK, Code Scene is a commercial version of Code Maat. https://github.com/adamtornhill/code-maat https://github.com/adamtornhill/code-maat
