Electric vehicles catch fire during Ian aftermath
- dontbenebby 4y agoThis will be an ongoing issue, since even if a locality has a fire code that lays out that you need to have extinguishers, those are not geared towards the chemical fire that an electric vehicle generates. (Also, in many places, electric only doesn't make sense because it gets too cold -- you want a hybrid that you run gas through once every two weeks to keep the parts working for emergencies if it's gonna go down as far as [checks notes] negative forty degrees.)
