  I don't idealize Trump. I said he was objectively right about Russia in one conversation where he got laughed at for saying they're a threat and that Germany is too dependent upon them for energy [1]. Nothing about that involves seething. I agree he was a terrible president overall, and I've said as much. I don't misgender people, either. Never have. I just don't demand everybody else should have the same view. Again, no seething. And why would I stop posting about male sexual assault victims? It was an obvious talking point. He certainly did a lot to cozy up to Russia, and more so to Saudi Arabia.

I doubt any mainstream media outlets outside of Fox News presented him as a genius. More likely they took the same mocking tone as the other representatives at that NATO dinner. He's a broken clock, but he was 100% right about energy dependence and NATO defense funding. How you read that as me "idealizing" Trump, I have no idea.
