I do get captions, but they seldom make sense. I guess no one at YouTube have tried watching non-English videos when making this preview feature..? To be fair, the captions are quite bad for the British panel shows I get recommended as well.

That's fair, I forgot how awful the captions can be. Still not sure how we got to a situation where, when watching a video on my Google phone, the phone can make vastly better, and near real-time, captions than YouTube can.
