Sounds like some banks I’ve dealt with. They all seem to have ridiculously short password limits. I’m guessing they store them in plain text in an ancient mainframe.
- LilBytes 4y agoDell iDRACs had the same 5-10 years ago. I only found this out after changing them all across 200+ hosts and trying to log into a few of them again a few months later. Made for a fun weekend and a fun flight all across Australia to our various DCs.
