Anecdotally, my local DJ equipment/repair store said the same - apparently the build quality of the mk7 isn’t as good as the older models. Unsure how true that is, but similar to many in this thread I have a pair of 1200mk2s which must be 30+ years old (I got them second hand for a steal) still going strong
- letier 4y agoI'm on the other side, only having a pair of MK7 here. They seem to be super stable, but I guess only time will tell if they also last for that long.
- tomduncalf 4y agoYeah TBH I am sure they are fine. I might upgrade mine to them at some point, just because mine are aesthetically not great and I'd like the pitch without the 0% notch
