- aikinai 4y agoAgree. And this is what they’re doing. Sony’s just announced camera leans heavily on ML for autofocus.
- dboreham 4y agoCameras have used "ML" since the Nikon FA in 1983.
- radicaldreamer 4y agoThey have, but the current generation of ML is far more sophisticated than what cameras have specialized in -- which is why you're seeing phone cameras punch so far above their weight. We haven't seen the same class of improvements for standalone cameras yet.
