FB advertising works extremely well, little less so after Apple's changes, but still it's a beast. If you look into FB financials, revenue per user has more room to grow, outside US if nothing else, but I think US as well. So "advertising model broken" isn't really true. It is irritable and despicable/deplorable in some ways for sure. But it works.
