That's because in the gaming industry, the player experience is king. In Facebook land, the user is the product. Meta just treats their users like garbage, which is basically the complete opposite of the gaming industry. A friend bought multiple headsets, and it turned out that it was impossible to use them as each unit had to be registered to a separate Facebook account. It's product decisions like this which signals to those customers that they really don't matter to the company, which makes perfect sense for a company that sells its users to the highest bidding information broker or advertiser and doesn't consider them to have any real value.
