I didn't the whole article, but just reading the title has been enough to make me raged. I'm sick of it. I'm sick and tired of people expecting Software Engineers to do other non-related activities. Am I the only to think that the activities a SWE should do are design/devise (as in code), implement and test. That's it. What color Mary likes and whether Jack agrees with, it is not my concern. Likewise, it is not my concern listening customers and giving them support.
