Okay, but: if you sit down among a group of your friends chatting, you’ll similarly hear them constantly making noises that stimulate the reward center in your brain. Yet we don’t consider that harmful. And that’s just as valid an analogy for Twitter. I mean, you can literally use Twitter to chat with friends. Perhaps I should say both analogies are valid, and Twitter combines aspects of both.
