This is a bad idea unless you are paying really well. I would even consider taking a small pay cut to run from a place that forced me to do that stuff. Instead of fixing those problems like a donkey, you should fix your database schema and data inconsistencies. Increase observability and monitoring budgets and whatever tooling is needed, so engineers know what is breaking and where before customers find out. I want to work at places that are one step ahead of their users, not the other way around.
