Cool technique but it would be cooler if you could cut the Rpi out of it. Do they make IC clips that can connect to the USB port of a laptop? If so that would be easier and less error prone than mapping the IC clip wires to the GPIO pins of the RPi and having to go through the trouble of connecting a KVM to what is, effectively a $35 throw-away computer. (Or, I suppose the best case would be an IC clip that plugs into the USB-C port of your phone, and you can run the software in an app...)
