I am not an engineer, but I feel the same way about payment systems. It is all so fragile when you peek behind the scenes that it is hard to justify using anything, but most basic services.

- A4ET8a8uTh0 4y agoWhat kind of banks? Or do you mean bank as a generic name for a financial institution? Works as a function of payments? How it is intended to function vs how it actually works? It seems like a very easy question, but it is admittedly hard for me to answer without some additional way to parse it. Could you narrow it down a little?
- panick21_ 4y agoMy point is that the IT infrastructure that run payments in actual banks are mostly terrible.
