Mildly surprised that Unity still uses the Boehm collector, I assumed they would have moved on to Mono's SGen collector by now.
- WorldMaker 4y agoA lot of C/C++ developers still seem afraid of multi-generational collectors despite decades of their use in practice. (ETA: which the article seems to state implicitly too, when describing Boehm: "well-known, conservative, non-moving".)
