Why not merging with Tizen to be a dominant platform?

- dave1010uk 15y agoAs far as I'm aware, Tizen and webOS are both the Linux kernel, X, glibc and other standard Linux distro components with apps built with "HTML5". I guess it wouldn't take much for webOS to be compatible with Tizen.
- masklinn 15y agoHow do you merge two completely and utterly unrelated projects exactly? And why would they merge WebOS into a project which does not exist and is the latest in a long line of abject failures to yield any result?
- scriptproof 15y agoTizen = Linux + HTML 5. WebOs = Linux + ENYO or OpenGL. They are not so unrelated.
