Can't quite wrap my mind around this kind of spending. I mean AMD came up with Ryzen and RDNA with much smaller R&D budget, and sillicon was hard af to do. What were they doing with this amount of money?
- MikusR 4y agoAmd has been making cpus for 50 years. Ryzen was just another one.
- joshl32532 4y agoAnd Rivian's market cap is $30B. Meta could easily bought another EV company to diversify. With the amount of R&D that was spent on Metaverse, it better shit gold for Meta for decades to come.
