Isn't 'soon' 3 years from now? And it'll definitely impact PCs more than 7-10 years old at that point, but that's kind of a hard number to get worked up about.

Isn't 'soon' 3 years from now? And it'll definitely impact PCs more than 7-10 years old at that point, but that's kind of a hard number to get worked up about. If it's that big a deal, when the deadline gets closer buy a new-to-you 7 year old machine for a couple hundred dollars.
- denton-scratch 4y agoYou're right; I thought it was coming up in November. I wonder why I thought that? It might be a message that Microsoft presented to me after the forced update I received yesterday morning, while I was trying to use the damned machine.
