I agree the name is a misnomer, but it's now part of the Enterprise Lexicon, which is filled with jargon.
I run an RPA startup, but as much as I hate the term (e.g:https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=30755118 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=30755118) , once something becomes part of common language patterns, you can't unshift it.
I hate the modern usage of 'AI' as ML, but I can't change the new definition.
