In the company that I worked for, they give me a refurbished Dell laptop, I used it every day for 8 hours or more, almost never turn it off or restart it, and it was still in perfect condition after 7 years, so much that I wanted to buy it from that company for my personal use. During those years we only upgrade it's ram from 4 to 8 GB and changed once the battery. I use to have open at least 10 chrome tabs in any point of time, open very heavy excel files, and never complain about anything.
