Both the official mobile app and the new website are horrible. If I couldn't use Apollo to access Reddit on my devices, or if they cancel availability of the old website, I'm done with that site. The content isn't valuable enough for me to suffer through their first party UIs, no matter what their KPIs say.
- candiddevmike 4y agoIt's interesting that Reddit and Facebook are both trying to squeeze as much short term profit from their users as possible at the expense of destroying their platform in the long term.
- poulpy123 4y agoSame for me. I spend a lot of time on Reddit, but I'm using a 3rd party client on Android and the old website on desktop. The new website is slow as fuck and I have no interest to be stuck with their app
- more_corn 4y agoSounds like you waste a lot of time on Reddit. Might I recommend deleting your account and taking a break?
