The best Laptops I ever had were all from dell. Started with the Dell XPS 12 and the rotatable screen. I thought this won't last a year. THIS FREAKING THING still works to this day. It is now over 8 years old. Moved to XPS 15 when I started coding at a new company. They were provided by my employee, but we were allowed to install our favorite OS. In my case, this is Arch Linux. For almost all XPS / Latitude and Precision Laptops there is a guide, what needs to be changed to get everything working. They work freakishly well. I am now on a framework laptop (11 gen for linux support), which is also a great Laptop. However, build quality isn't as good when you compare it to a Dell XPS or Precision. Every other Laptop brand I tried sucked in comparison (Lenovo, Acer, Apple all > 2000$).
