Silly Earthling. The Pylons were built by the ancient Altrusians, who devolved into the Sleestak. Do not tamper with the Light Crystals in the Matrix Table, or that will disrupt the weather and summon the Skylons. https://landofthelost.fandom.com/wiki/Pylons https://landofthelost.fandom.com/wiki/Pylons https://landofthelost.fandom.com/wiki/Altrusian https://landofthelost.fandom.com/wiki/Altrusian https://landofthelost.fandom.com/wiki/Crystals https://landofthelost.fandom.com/wiki/Crystals https://landofthelost.fandom.com/wiki/Skylons_(episode) https://landofthelost.fandom.com/wiki/Skylons_(episode)

They want to make "pylons" - not "cylons". One is good for supplying electricity.
