This is an unfortunate feature loss in my favorite PDF viewer. Even though I’ve migrated to Windows and FreeBSD for my daily driver at home, I still use a Mac at work, and I have to admit that I miss Preview.app whenever I’m using my home computer. As a computer science researcher I still regularly encounter research papers, particularly those written before the late 1990s, that are in PostScript format instead of PDF. I also semi-regularly work with EPS figures when writing documents in LaTeX. Yes, I’m aware of tools like ps2pdf and other command-line conversion tools, but it was nice being able to open up PostScript files without having to manually convert them. I wonder if it’s possible to run Big Sur Preview.app in Ventura?
