At the margin, each additional hire likely does create additional revenue. Otherwise, Apple would be laying people off at their stores. If anything, Apple stores feel a bit understaffed. After all, most purchases can't be made without an employee; if you have to wait 30 minutes to be helped, there's an increased chance you'll abandon your purchase.
