Traditionally the market was dominated by Dell and HP.
China-based Lenovo tops my list of manufacturers to buy PCs from, too. Their products are dependable and long-lasting. One ThinkPad laptop I still occasionally use dates back to 2010. I have bought nothing but the Lenovo brand when buying a PC since about 2013.
Coincidentally, HP has been on my 'Do NOT buy PCs from this company' list for about 15 years, after about 4 or 5 HP PCs (a couple of which I bought for myself, a few others I inherited from other people) were just rubbish and terrible failures. HP Laserjet printers are a different matter entirely. I always buy those.
