I had a lot of technical problems with Mavericks. The first installation failed. The WiFi never worked correctly, with frequent slow-downs and drops that didn’t affect any other devices (including older Macs). This was a commonly reported problem at the time. For a system that sold itself on “just working”, this was all very jarring.
