- johntash 4y agoThe last time I looked for it, the salary calculator was removed. I don't think they're as open about compensation anymore as they used to be.

- MattPearce 4y agoI really like GitLab as a company, just such a shame they insist on candidates having years of Rails experience, quite jarring coming from a company that is so welcoming in every other aspect. I've had multiple roles where I had to learn a new language/framework after starting and it has never ever been an issue. It's quite geographically exclusionary too, given many countries have low Rails uptake as compared to the USA.
