Whereas tiktok America is a endless cringe-fest (you know it's true), Douyin is apparently filled with inventions and 5 minute crafts style life hacks. Banning tiktok is probably the best thing the Indian govt has ever done. The US should follow this example for the sake of its youth
- jbirer 4y agoAs much as TikTok is a cringe-fest, you find what you search for. Kids in China are interested in building wealth and "surpassing Americans" whereas the American kids are interested in online clout and popularity. TikTok will lose marketshare on it's own when American culture changes.
- Kukumber 4y agoIt doesn't matter, the US is perverting its own citizens already with their own tools and products If you only target TikTok then you are blind, or your are part of the problem Tracking users should be a criminal offense, and Data should be a personal protected asset Facebook should have been banned years ago, Instagram is the same, content is filled with what's destroying the youth At least TikTok is creative oriented
