Maybe I'm misremembering, but right now, expose is still available by unticking "Group Windows by Application". And it's not great if you have many windows. The arrangements of windows changes every time I invoke it. And even if it was consistent, I can't imagine that visually scanning through 30 tiny windows is efficient.
