On a similar note, I wish OS updates came not just with supported hardware list, but also how well an OS works on older hardware. I have a late 2013 15” MBP with 16GB RAM as my daily driver, and it was great till it had Mojave on it. In a moment of insanity I decided to update it to Big Sur , since it was no longer getting security updates. And guess what, it massively effed it up. It became much slower, services started taking unnecessary CPU and memory pressure running into yellow more frequently.
