Toyota scrambles for EV reboot with eye on Tesla
- killingtime74 4y agoThey threw away the massive lead they had with the Prius. Good luck to them, Toyota entering will push prices down and quality up.
- jqpabc123 4y agoBad judgment on the part of Toyota. Understandable --- but still bad judgment. The entire Japanese auto industry is built around the internal combustion engine. Milling and casting technology represents decades of refinement and millions of jobs. A lot of this goes out the window with EVs. The alternative is for Toyota itself to go out the window. It's called "progress" --- and it waits for no one.
