This is why I buy Apple laptops. They always work and come with zero bloatware. You can buy the cheapest laptop they sell, and it will work effortlessly for email, web surfing and most other generic tasks. Their lack of bloat shows in their hardware specs. I've worked on Dell laptops and they were spec'd out at 64GB. My latest MacBook Pro has 16GB and its feels MORE responsive than the Dell computer. Each MacBook Pro and MacBook Air I've purchased has also lasted many more years than my friends HP, Dell or Lenovo laptops. Honestly, the only reason I typically upgrade my laptop every 4 or 5 years is because I just want something new. Apple products cost more, but given their full lifecycle, I think they're cheaper to own than most other brands.
