Asus has a line of products called Asus Pure. Those are the same Asus laptops as their "normal" ones, but Pure models do not have any 3rd party software, no trialware, no test versions etc. Plain Windows, nothing else. But I think those are only available in Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

At least us, en, gb, es, it, and de versions the the URL did not work. Not sure why those are not available everywhere, but those are the only laptops I buy for my parents.
EDIT: The marketing material on those pages says:
"ASUS PURE comes without pre-installed third-party software, trial versions and apps. You choose what you install on your machine. ASUS PURE is designed for fast and optimal performance by freeing up memory and CPU power. The ASUS PURE laptop starts up faster and the machine feels like new for longer. Your computer is protected by Microsoft's Windows Defender antivirus program and a firewall that receives regular updates and does not include annual fees. Your ASUS PURE laptop is therefore always safe."
Like, why would anyone want to have it any other way? What's the benefit for us customers to have all that crapware installed when it does no good for us?

- TheRealDunkirk 4y agoI think you've stumbled on the answer everyone is searching for here. I'm certain that these specific SKU's exist only in these specific countries because of legislation. We could do the same thing in the US, but companies are running our government, so... no bueno.
