I have a razer laptop that gets 20-30% higher FPS when you uninstall all the razer crapware. You'd think a "gaming" brand would value performance, though I did put gaming in quotes because razer is definitely more of an aesthetics brand today. The hardware is great* but the software kneecaps it. I'm sure most people buying a gaming laptop aren't doing a full windows re-install on it and are losing out on noticeable performance amounts. * It could definitely use more ventilation, they're aiming too much for the macbook look but on factory overlcocked i7 that doesn't work well.
