I wonder, wouldnt it be enought to have a quadrocopter with some trailing fibres, getting in the way fast enough, winding the fibres into the suicide drone. If that could be automated, lots of them would crash and burn somewhere very remote? The fibers would have to be optimized for this, lightweight but sturdy, weaved into a spidernet, that hardens under pressure.
