The Unity desktop in 2022 – A trick of nostalgia or the real deal?
- necovek 4y agoYeah, while the old Unity was buggy, the UX was much smoother than the Gnome3 it was replaced with (either with the dock or clean upstream variant). One thing I enjoyed was Unity using Xapian instead of Lucene as the search engine, which worked much better for multi-script Serbian language out of the box.
