- 4oo4 4y agoI love these so much, there are so many cool geometrical patterns and the colorization makes everything look very psychedelic. They also make amazing desktop wallpapers, I think the majority of mine come from here. Interestingly, all the submissions of circuits dropped off after 2009. https://www.nikonsmallworld.com/subjects/circuit https://www.nikonsmallworld.com/subjects/circuit I'm thinking that has to be because features shrank too much with process nodes to be able to take a photograph without something like an electron microscope, since the rules require light microscopy only.
