- svnt 4y agoIt’s a cool formalization of an intuitively obvious process: the complexity of large-scale pseudo-anonymous interaction leads us to align based on co-created stereotypes and create sometimes violent divergences in online populations. Author depends on “objective reality” to keep people in check, assuming they actually meant environmental interaction, what kind of runaway (or synchronization) happens when that is too different between participants, or functionally disappears?
