Exit strategy to where? There is no viable exit when the world is crumbling around you. Not even actual farmers might be safe. We have a lot of actual physical labor to do, regardless of how much it is paid for. It can be paid for well or it can ruin you. What our societies did is devalue important physical labor, when it's more necessary then ever before. We need to fix rivers, build exosystems - with a shovel and rake, oftentimes - and build these wind farms and solar panels, meaning restarting old manufacturing in a new clean ways. All while at the same time food and water still gets delivered and cleaned, garbage is properly disposed of, or better yet, reused. None of which current revision of capitalism promotes.
