- pjerem 4y agoI like the light phone design (I’m a e-ink fanboy tbf). But I can’t get over the fact that this is just a glorified $29 dumb phone with a e-ink screen for ten times the price.
- lowwave 4y agoyeah we shuould get one that that is like the old nokia with more memory for messages. This is too expensive, and 4G and other internet stuff also doesn't help. Rather have a phone where I can call and message.
- askvictor 4y agoI was looking in that direction, but even the 'smart' dumb phones like this are too limited (I seem to need 5 different messaging apps these days... and navigation, and a few other things) The UniHertz Jelly seems to tread a nice middle ground in that it's got too tiny a screen (about a third to a quarter of the size of a modern smartphone) for casual reading and distracting crap, but fully featured Android for the things you need. I only wish it had a keyboard better designed for the screen size. I thought I'd use voice typing a lot more, but can't convince myself to talk to the machine...
