Sure thing, which is why I always call fonts locally. The problem is how adequate is the compensation for the violation. Some law firms ask for amounts close to 500€, and that’s bonkers. Also, most of them automate the website visit with a spoof user, which is easy to prove and immediately discredits their request. Unfortunately nobody does because you need to hire a lawyer and it’s cheaper to just pay and be done with it.
