This is spot on and the comparison to WhatsApp is striking.
The people defending twitter’s insane headcount strike me as people who have never run a business or a large team.
They don’t understand what “dead weight” means, why a massive bloated bureaucracy forms, or how administrative bloat it defends itself.
If anything, 75% is probably too low.
