  It makes you poorer and increases inequality.

    If assets held by the wealthy fall in value and wages increase, that decreases inequality, and everyone is getting poorer in real terms because inflation sucks.

      The fed raise interest rates, so the rich just buy bonds and lend money.. they get that sweet sweet interest.

Wages are not rising as fast as prices unfortunately

  They’re still rising faster than any investment asset class, so inequality is shrinking.

    That's an interesting way to put it. It does seem possible that a growing economy creates greater differences, as not everyone can succeed to the same degree, whereas a shrinking economy levels the playing field.
